Senior Backend Engineer

We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team of 40 in San Francisco (hybrid). You'll build scalable backend systems powering AI-driven document processing and enterprise workflow automation. Your work will span Python microservices, infrastructure-as-code, and cloud-native systems handling real production workloads.

What we're looking for

  • 3–8 years backend engineering experience with Python or equivalent systems languages
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, and infrastructure tools like Terraform
  • Production experience designing and scaling services with PostgreSQL or similar databases
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems
  • Experience with TypeScript/NodeJS or willingness to work across language ecosystems
