Forward Deployed Engineer

You'll work as a Forward Deployed Engineer supporting customers who use our checkout platform across the automotive sales ecosystem—dealers, distributors, marketplaces, and OEMs. You'll divide your time between helping customers succeed with our product and collaborating with our engineering team to ship features and fixes. This is a hybrid role based in New York where you'll directly influence how customers experience our platform and feed their needs back into product development.

What we're looking for

  • 1–5 years of software engineering experience, ideally in customer-facing or solutions engineering roles
  • Proficiency with React, Node.js, and Express or equivalent JavaScript/backend frameworks
  • Strong communication skills and comfort explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience troubleshooting production issues and guiding customers through implementation
  • Ability to work hybrid from our New York office and travel occasionally to customer sites
