You'll sit at the intersection of fraud detection engineering and internal platform strategy, translating the messy signals of synthetic identity fraud into clean data pipelines that power real-time decisions. One morning you're whiteboarding with data engineers on Spark job optimization; by afternoon you're prioritizing the next iteration of an internal Snowflake warehouse that analysts rely on to spot attack patterns before they scale. Your roadmap isn't theoretical—it's the infrastructure that keeps fraudulent accounts from opening in the first place.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years shipping data-intensive products in fintech, cybersecurity, or adjacent regulated spaces
- Deep fluency with Spark, Snowflake, and Python—enough to read logs, debug pipelines, and earn engineering trust
- Demonstrated experience building internal tools or platforms whose customers are your own technical teams
- Comfort navigating ambiguity in fraud and risk domains where requirements shift as attackers evolve
- Strong AWS ecosystem experience, from storage and compute configurations to cost-performance tradeoffs
- Must be based in the United States.
