You are an engineer who believes algorithms should drive people together, not keep them scrolling, and you thrive in a tiny, high-ownership team building from scratch. Your days will blend Python backend logic with Swift on-device models to power a live map of spontaneous meetups in New York City. We need someone who can architect low-latency inference pipelines that respect user privacy while delivering magic the moment two compatible strangers cross paths.

What we're looking for

  • 4+ years of production experience building machine learning systems with Python.
  • Proficiency in Swift or deep familiarity with deploying models on iOS devices.
  • Proven track record of shipping consumer-facing features in early-stage startups.
  • Ability to work fully on-site in New York within a small, collaborative unit.
  • Must be based in the United States.
