Platform-as-a-Service that deploys directly into your own cloud, giving teams the speed of Heroku with the control of AWS.
Design Engineer
We're building the interface between developers and the cloud—a product that collapses the distance between infrastructure and application code. As a Design Engineer, you won't just hand off mockups; you'll shape the interaction patterns, visual language, and frontend architecture of a tool that thousands of engineers rely on to ship their own software. This is a role for someone who thinks in systems, sweats the details of a loading state, and can argue the tradeoffs of a component API with the same fluency as a color palette.
What we're looking for
- 2+ years building production interfaces in React and TypeScript, with a portfolio that demonstrates strong visual craft and interaction design sensibility.
- Comfort working across the full design stack—from rough concepting in Figma to shipping polished, accessible UI code.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure concepts (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and developer tools; you don't need to be an SRE, but you should be curious about the workflows your work enables.
- A habit of prototyping fast and iterating in public, seeking critique from engineers and users rather than polishing in isolation.
- Experience contributing to or maintaining a design system—you think in reusable primitives and understand the tension between consistency and one-off needs.
- Must be based in the United States.
