You'll be a founding engineer at a well-funded startup building AI-powered generative design tools for the engineers who design and operate building systems. The platform helps architects and engineers optimize HVAC, lighting, and safety across commercial and residential buildings. You'll work on both the product frontend and backend infrastructure, collaborating closely with a 30-person team in New York on problems at the intersection of AI, physics simulation, and real-world construction workflows.

What we're looking for

  • 5–10 years of software engineering experience with demonstrated ability to own full-stack product work
  • Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and/or Svelte for frontend development
  • Experience building backend services in Python and/or C/C++, with relational databases like PostgreSQL
  • Comfort with cloud infrastructure (GCP experience preferred) and deployment at scale
  • Genuine interest in construction, building systems, or manufacturing challenges (domain expertise not required but strong curiosity is)
