Backend Engineer

As a key member of the technical team, you'll design and implement scalable backend systems to support the growth of agentic commerce platforms. Your work will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate AI models, such as those from OpenAI, into the company's infrastructure. You'll have the opportunity to work on complex problems, like optimizing APIs for high-volume transactions and ensuring seamless data exchange between systems. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building robust and efficient backend architectures that can handle the demands of a rapidly expanding ecosystem.

What we're looking for

  • 1-5 years of experience in backend engineering with a focus on scalability and performance
  • Proficiency in Git and experience with cloud-based infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns and APIs, with a focus on integrating AI models into commerce systems
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Must be based in the United States.
