Founding Recruiter
You'll spend mornings sourcing engineers who've shipped developer tools, afternoons calibrating with founders on what 'founding frontend' actually means for their stack, and evenings refining offer letters before candidates get poached. This is the first talent hire. No playbook exists yet. You're writing it while using it—recruiting the team that builds the team.
What we're looking for
- 2-7 years technical recruiting, with at least half in early-stage software or AI companies
- Proven track record closing senior engineers and product hires in competitive markets
- Fluent in modern AI tooling and able to evaluate candidates who've built with LLMs
- Comfortable operating without dedicated recruiting ops, sourcers, or established employer brand
- Willing to work in-person four days weekly from a New York office
- Must be based in the United States.
