Founding Forward Deployed Engineer

You'll be a founding forward deployed engineer at an AI company building automation tools for trucking fleet operations. The role combines customer-facing technical support with full-stack engineering—you'll deploy agentic AI solutions that integrate across multiple carrier management systems, troubleshoot production issues, and gather customer feedback to inform product development. You'll work closely with an 8-person founding team in San Francisco, split your time between customers and the codebase, and help shape both the product and the support model from the ground up.

What we're looking for

  • 2–5 years of software engineering experience with TypeScript, React, or Python
  • Experience with AWS infrastructure and deployment
  • Comfort working directly with customers to diagnose issues and iterate on solutions
  • Full-stack capability across frontend and backend systems
  • Ability to learn and troubleshoot agentic AI systems and third-party integrations
