Lead Application Security Engineer

You'll lead application security efforts for a data infrastructure platform that syncs customer information from data warehouses into business tools. This is a remote role based in Canada, working with a 350-person team that has secured $320M in funding. You'll own security architecture, threat modeling, and secure development practices across a polyglot backend built on TypeScript, Go, and cloud platforms.

What we're looking for

  • 6+ years of application security or backend engineering experience
  • Expertise with TypeScript, Go, or similar backend languages
  • Hands-on experience securing systems across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
  • Strong background in threat modeling, secure architecture, and vulnerability management
  • Leadership capability to influence security practices across engineering teams
