Senior/Staff Backend Engineer

We're looking for a Senior or Staff Backend Engineer to help build testing and monitoring infrastructure for AI voice agents. You'll work on a small, focused team that's solving real problems for developers building conversational AI systems. This is a remote role based in Texas, Canada, or Europe, and you'll have significant impact on the technical direction of the platform.

What we're looking for

  • 5–15 years of backend engineering experience with production systems at scale
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and Python; experience with Next.js a plus
  • Experience designing and maintaining distributed systems using Kafka, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Kubernetes
  • Hands-on work with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and cloud platforms such as AWS
  • Familiarity with systems languages like Scala or Rust, or willingness to learn them on the job
