Senior Software Engineer, Platform Security
We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead platform security initiatives at a well-funded AI company focused on data infrastructure. You'll design and implement security controls across our AWS-based systems, manage infrastructure-as-code practices, and ensure compliance at scale. This role combines hands-on engineering with architectural decision-making, working alongside a 50-person team in San Francisco on-site.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of experience in security engineering, infrastructure security, or site reliability engineering
- Strong proficiency with AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes for secure infrastructure design and deployment
- Experience securing data systems, implementing access controls, and audit logging in production environments
- Solid foundation with PostgreSQL, Node.js/TypeScript, and monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana
- Proven ability to design and implement security policies that scale with rapid growth
